USING TEACH
A shared understanding.
Practical information about your account and the resources you choose.
Updated November 4, 2026. TEACH is operated by Higher Ground Publishing.
Your family account
Free accounts are for parents and other adults managing their family’s homeschool. Keep your password private, use accurate contact information and sign out on shared devices. Please use the site lawfully and respect other families’ privacy.
Resources and access
The Library is free to read. Webinars require registration for the selected recording when it is available. A free account or webinar registration does not unlock paid resources. Purchasing one product unlocks that product; it does not unlock every TEACH resource.
The Planner is a separate paid product. Blueprint, curriculum and generator purchases qualify for Front Porch access; a free account, webinar registration or Planner-only purchase does not. Generators are Coming Soon. Access to earlier purchases may need to be matched to your account.
Front Porch community
Shared conversations and replies are visible to qualifying TEACH members and administrators. Use the community respectfully: no harassment, spam, unlawful material or sharing another person’s private information. Keep children’s identifying details and sensitive records out of posts. TEACH administrators may hide or restore messages and restrict participation when needed to protect the community. You can remove your own messages from view; hidden messages may be retained for moderation.
Ask Jana conversations are visible only to the person who started the conversation and TEACH administrators. Wishing Well submissions go privately to TEACH. Neither is an immediate-response service. To report a concern privately, use Contact & Help.
Planner and family records
The Planner helps you organize the records you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy and for checking the recordkeeping requirements that apply to your family. TEACH does not certify attendance or guarantee that a report satisfies every school, agency or jurisdiction.
An active Planner subscription permits new entries. When it expires, saved records remain readable and downloadable while TEACH offers the archive service, subject to the service-closure provisions below. Keep independent copies of important records using PDF or Word downloads. The sample Planner preview is separate and resets on reload.
Your responsibility for backups
You are responsible for keeping current, independent backup copies of your important records and generated documents outside TEACH. Download and retain your own copies of attendance records, notes, transcripts, legacy projects and other important work, and update those copies after significant changes. Do not rely on this website as the only place your information exists. A saved entry or an on-screen backup reminder is not confirmation that you have an independent copy.
TEACH is an online working service, not a guarantee of permanent storage, uninterrupted availability or recovery of every file. We do not guarantee that data cannot be lost, corrupted or made inaccessible, or that lost information can always be restored.
Catastrophic failures and data loss
Internet and telecommunications outages, power failures, natural disasters, hosting or database failures, cyber incidents and other events beyond our reasonable control may interrupt the service or cause information to be lost, corrupted or unavailable.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TEACH and Higher Ground Publishing are not liable for loss, corruption or unavailability of your data resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, or for loss resulting from your failure to maintain independent backups. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Website and archive closure
We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue the website, a tool or the archive service. We do not undertake to operate this website or maintain an archive forever. This right is subject to applicable law and any rights arising from an existing paid purchase.
For a planned permanent closure that affects access to your stored records, we will notify affected account holders at the email address on their account and post a notice on the website. The notice will state the closure date, the retrieval deadline and how to download available files. We will provide at least 30 calendar days after that notice for you to retrieve your available records before planned removal of archive access. Keep your account email address current and retrieve your files before the stated deadline.
An unexpected catastrophic failure, or urgent legal or security action, may prevent advance notice or make some records or retrieval options unavailable. In that situation, we will provide notice as soon as reasonably practicable and explain the retrieval options that remain available; we cannot promise recovery of data that has already been lost.
After the announced retrieval deadline, records may be deleted, and we have no continuing obligation to retain, recover or restore them except where applicable law requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of records you did not retrieve within the announced period. A service closure does not remove rights you may have under applicable law or the terms of an existing paid purchase.
Courses and curriculum
TEACH materials are copyrighted by Higher Ground Publishing or their identified creators. Use and print purchased materials for the family covered by your purchase. Do not resell, republish or distribute the course files, recordings or private access links without permission. Your own notes and family records remain yours.
Orders and availability
GAP and Blueprint selection pages show current availability and let you review a package without taking a payment. When checkout is available, payment is completed securely through Stripe and access is provided after payment confirmation. Existing Homeschool-911 purchases remain subject to the terms shown when purchased. For questions about an existing purchase, use its original order confirmation or Contact & Help.
GAP curriculum, individual Blueprint modules and the complete Blueprint course purchased through TEACH include a full-refund guarantee for requests made within 7 days of purchase, even if files have been downloaded or lessons started. See the 7-day money-back guarantee for how to request a refund. This does not establish a recurring-billing policy.
Privacy and help
See Privacy for account information, family records and email choices. Use Contact & Help to report an access problem, ask about your records or request permission to use TEACH material.
